A one-time account verification unlocks fast and secure fuelling without the need for MyKad at every transaction
Kuala Lumpur, 26 September 2025 – Setel Ventures Sdn Bhd (Setel), Malaysia’s first and fastest-growing fuelling and mobility app, will provide ease of access to Malaysians eligible for the BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) programme from 30 September 2025. Through a one-time verification on the app, users can refuel at over 1,000 PETRONAS stations without the need for manual MyKad verification at every transaction.
Once verified, users gain access to additional benefits in the Setel ecosystem. Features such as One-tap fuelling let customers activate the pump directly from their vehicle, while Setel Lite ensures smooth performance on older mobile phones. Every transaction also earns up to three times Mesra Rewards points, adding extra value to every litre.

Under the BUDI95 programme announced by the Government, Malaysians aged 16 and above with a MyKad and a valid driving licence will enjoy RON95 at RM1.99 per litre, up to 300 litres per month. E-hailing drivers will also be entitled to additional litres beyond the monthly cap to support their livelihoods. Users will be able to check their eligibility and BUDI95 balance directly in the app starting from 25 September 2025, with full details available through Setel’s official channels. New users who register and verify their accounts will have access to rewards through the Setel app, PETRONAS station dealers, on-ground events and participating partner platforms.
