How to use BUDI95 with Setel?
Step 1
At the station, launch Setel and tap Purchase fuel.
Step 2
Select pump number and fuel amount. Make sure BUDI95 is enabled, then tap Pay.
Step 3
Start refuelling once pump is activated.
Step 4
Done! Your eligible balance will be deducted accordingly.

Choose One-tap fuelling.
Step 3
Choose your preferred fuel type and amount, then activate Use BUDI95.
Step 4
Back to homepage, and tap pump number
Step 5
Start refuelling once pump is activated.

Done! Your eligible balance will be deducted accordingly.

Show your Setel code to the cashier for scanning.

The eligibility criteria are determined by the Ministry of Finance (MOF). For more information on the eligibility criteria, kindly visit the MOF website at https://www.budimadani.gov.my/ (live starting 9AM, 25 September 2025).
You can check your eligibility instantly through the Setel app by following the steps below:
- Launch the Setel app and tap BUDI95 (25 September onwards).
- Tap Check eligibility.
- Verify your account (e-KYC) – this step will be skipped if you’ve verified your account prior to this.
- Wait for a moment and the results will be displayed instantly.
If you’re eligible, you’ll be able to view your eligible balance. (Eligible balance will be reflected 30 September onwards)
There are 2 methods to verify your account/perform e-KYC for the BUDI MADANI RON95 eligibility check.

Through the BUDI95 tile. Follow the steps below:
- Launch the Setel app and tap BUDI95.
- Tap Check eligibility.
- Tap Verify account.
- Upload your identification document and a selfie. Follow the provided instructions for a successful verification.
You can view your monthly eligible balance by tapping the BUDI95 icon on the Setel homepage. (Eligible balance will be reflected 30 September onwards)
Unfortunately, no. Setel can only be used at PETRONAS stations.
