Of course! You can renew it through the Road tax feature.

A receipt of the transaction and policy details will be sent to the email address registered with Setel. Alternatively, you can check the transaction history in the Setel App. Click More at the bottom right and select Payment history under Payments.

Of course! You will be eligible if you meet all of the criteria below:

 

AXA

  • The motor insurance has not expired for more than 30 days.
  • It is not more than 60 days away from motor insurance expiry date.
  • There has not more than 1 claim in the last 2 years.
  • The vehicle is less than 20 years old and for private use only.
  • You are between 18-75 years old.

 

Etiqa

  • Motor insurance has not expired for more than 30 days.
  • It is not more than 60 days away from motor insurance expiry date.
  • The vehicle is less than 20 years old and for private use only.
  • You are between 25-80 years old.

Calculation of the premium is done by assessing the condition of the car and the amount insured. For a more detailed breakdown, please proceed to the quotation service in the Setel App. Go to Setel home page & click on the Insurance & Takaful icon.

Yes, you can view the list of additional coverages available when requesting for a quotation.

All post-sales activities (claims, cancellation, etc.) are handled by the insurance company.

We will grant the cashback to your account after you have successfully made a motor insurance purchase with a minimum spend of RM500 for a total cashback value of RM50, a minimum spend of RM800 for a total cashback value of RM80, a minimum spend of RM1000 for a total cashback value of RM100, and a minimum spend of RM1500 for a total cashback value of RM150.

After you’ve made your payment, tap ‘More’ > ‘Payment history’ in the Setel app to view your cashback.

The cashback will not expire and will be eligible for use so long as you have an active Setel account.

Setel cashback can be used to pay for fuel, motor insurance, parking and items in Kedai Mesra, on Deliver2Me and at any merchants online and physical stores that accept Setel Pay, only within the Setel app.

All Eligible Customers are entitled to receive a RM50 cashback for a minimum spend of RM500 for every motor insurance purchase, a RM80 cashback for a minimum spend of RM800, a RM100 cashback for a minimum spend of RM1000, and a RM150 cashback for a minimum spend of RM1500 limited to the first motor insurance purchase via Setel during campaign period.

If you spend RM1600, you will unlock the “Car Insurance Rewards” 1,2,3, & 4 and earn RM50 for unlocking “Car Insurance Rewards 1 badge” for a minimum spend of RM500, RM30 for unlocking “Car Insurance Rewards 2 badge”, RM20 for unlocking “Car Insurance Rewards 3 badge”, and RM50 for unlocking “Car Insurance Rewards 4 badge” for a minimum spend of RM1500. In total, you will receive RM150 in total cashback value.

If you spend RM790 on motor insurance, you will unlock the “Motor Insurance badge” 1 only and earn RM50 in cashback.
