Frequently asked questions

Setel users are eligible to get up to RM15 cashback, when they pay using Setel at participating grocery stores and fuel using Setel.

The campaign runs from 28 July 2025 to 27 September 2025. However, Setel reserves the right to terminate, change, amend, or add on any terms and conditions to this promotion with prior notice.

Payment can be made by displaying user’s unique Setel code for the cashier to scan, or scanning merchant’s Setel QR code displayed at the counter.

1. A cumulative spend of RM150 from the participating grocery stores is required to be eligible to earn RM10 cashback. Participating grocery stores:

  • MYDIN
  • AEONBiG
  • TF Value Mart
  • Village Grocer
  • Billion
  • NSK
  • Hero Market


 

2. A cumulative spend of RM40 on fuel via Setel is required to be eligible to earn RM5 cashback.

Once payment is made, cashback will be rewarded within 72 hours to the user’s wallet in the Setel app and you will receive a notification to notify you of the reward. Go to Setel, tap “Pay”, and scroll down to see “Payment history” for transaction records.

Users will get up to RM15 cashback on purchases made with Setel at participating grocery stores and fuelling, per month, during the campaign period. Once users have reached the monthly cap amount, they can only earn cashback in the following month.

 

  • 28th July – 27th August 2025 (1 month) = RM15 cashback
  • 28th August – 27th September 2025 (1 month) = RM15 cashback

Yes, you can as long as you have a valid phone number and payment method. However, for Virtual Mesra Card Activation (points redemption) will require a valid IC Number.

Cashback cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discounts offered by Setel unless explicitly stated. However, the promotions are able to be combined with merchants’ in-store discounts if applicable.
