RM2 cashback campaign
1. Available for New and Existing Setel users who download, register and spend with Setel Pay from 6 February - 31 March 2023 (Campaign Period).
2. Promotion is not valid for use together with other Setel related promo codes or offers.
3. Existing customers need to spend with Setel Pay on a min. RM20 in a single transaction at any participating MYNEWS outlets, to earn RM2 cashback.
4.Each existing customer is entitled to a one(1)-time redemption for the RM2 cashback, limited to the first 10,000 redemptions.
5. Each existing customer will then receive their RM2 cashback e-voucher via an app inbox message within 24 hours, after spending a min. of RM20 in a single transaction at MYNEWS.

How do I get cashback?

Customers will receive their RM2 cashback e-voucher via an app inbox message within 24 hours, after spending a min. of RM20 in a single transaction at MYNEWS.

How would I know if I have received the RM2 cashback in my account?

After you’ve made your payment, tap ‘More’ > ‘Payment History’ in the Setel app to view your cashback after 24 hours upon payment.

Will the cashback expire?

The cashback will not expire and will be eligible for use so long as you have an active Setel account.

Where can I use the earned cashback?

Setel cashback can be used to purchase fuel, shop at Setel Pay online and offline merchants, purchase items in Kedai Mesra, parking fees, auto assistance, motor insurance, pay for EV charging and/or on the Deliver2Me feature.

Is there a limit to a number of times a user can receive the cashback?

All Eligible Customers are entitled to receive a one(1)-time RM2 cashback for a minimum spend of RM20 made with Setel Pay purchase, limited to the first 10,000 redemptions during campaign period.

What do I need to do to receive the cashback?

Customers need to register with code < c-mynews2 > and spend a minimum of RM20 in a single transaction, 1 time only (capped at RM2 cashback).

How can I perform a min. spend to receive the cashback?

You can firstly choose to top up via Setel Wallet, credit/debit card or online transfer to qualify for the cashback. If you’ve met the minimum spend amount of RM20 required, your Setel cashback will be granted to your Setel account instantly.

Can I use the promo code on top of other promo codes/offers?

No, unfortunately you may only apply one promo code at a time.

I am an existing Setel user, am I allowed to use this promo code?

No, unfortunately this promo code is only applicable for new users. We have many interesting deals and offers planned for our current users, stay tuned!

Where can I use the cashback to shop?

I have received my cashback after performing the min. spend required, when will it expire?

The cashback will not expire and will be eligible for use so long as you have an active Setel account.

What is the maximum cashback I can receive as a new user?

f you’ve registered on Setel as a new user, you will receive RM2 cashback with a minimum spend of RM20 in a single transaction, upon your 1st transaction with Setel Pay at MYNEWS. Upon registering as a new customer and enjoying the promotion above, users may spend another min. RM20 to redeem another RM2 cashback. Hence, a new user can receive up to maximum cashback of up to RM4, limited to a one(1)-time redemption only.
