Frequently asked questions
Setel users are eligible for 3% cashback for every purchase made via Setel on SetelPay, parking, road tax, auto assistance, EV charging, and Deliver2Me with RM5 cap per month. The 3% Cashback Campaign does not support purchases made on/ at the following:
- Fuel
- DuitNow
- Kedai Mesra
- Motor insurans/ takaful
Apart from the cashback reward, no Mesra points will be given for every successful transaction made on physical & online stores, motor insurance/ takaful, road tax, parking, auto assistance, buy & sell, and EV charging. Mesra points are only eligible for purchases made on fuel, Kedai Mesra, and Deliver2Me.
The campaign runs from 1 November to 31 December 2023. However, Setel reserves the right to terminate, change, amend, or add on any terms and conditions to this promotion without any prior notice.
Payment can be made by displaying user’s unique Setel code for the cashier to scan, or scanning merchant’s Setel QR code displayed at the counter.
Users need to spend minimum RM1 to be eligible for the 3% cashback.
Once payment is made for the eligible purchases, the 3% cashback will be automatically rewarded to your e-Wallet in the Setel app and you will receive a notification of the reward. To check your transaction history tap Profile and then Payment history.

The 3% cashback reward cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discounts offered by Setel unless explicitly stated. However, the promotions are able to be combined with merchants’ in-store discounts if applicable.
