System Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a System Reliability Engineer (Technical Operations) to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. In This Role You Will:
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to identify customer and merchant issues.
  • Proactively build and implement solutions to improve support and operational efficiency.
  • Provide analytical and troubleshooting support to internal business partners.
  • Take part in documenting technical processes, incident reports, guides and knowledgebase.
  • Get involved in the design, build and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure all key services are measured, monitored and raising alerts when needed.
  • Be part of on-call duties.

You’re a great fit if you have:

  • A degree in Information System or related fields (fresh graduate) OR 2+ years of experience as a software engineer.

 

Additional requirements:

  • Comfortable with on-call rotation, part of an on-call schedule 24/7.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities.
  • Experience troubleshooting problems and working with a team to resolve large scale production issues.

 

Interest to learn the following technologies is desirable:

  • Database solutions such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis.
  • AWS services including but not limited to CloudWatch, EKS, Redshift, Lambda.
  • Container based architecture – Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Swarm.
  • Modern programming languages e.g. Ruby, Javascript, Python, Elixir, Go.
  • Monitoring services such as New Relic, DataDog, Grafana+Prometheus, Elastic APM.
  • Linux OS and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python or similar).
  • Networking knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, internet routing and load balancing.
